UI/UX Angular Developer

at GUIBO in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or in Karlsruhe or remote ;-)

About us:

GUIBO is on a mission to empower specialized tour operators of e.g. adventure, hiking, cycling, sports or cultural trips to benefit from the ever-growing and sometimes even threatening field of new technologies for their teams and their travellers. This helps them to capitalize on their most important assets in a digital world: Distinctive values, expertise and services.

This mission and our team's belief that we can move mountains if we know what we want have made us the market-leading B2B startup for the most innovative tour operators in europe. Today, we are growing fast and are packed with an amazing list of new features we can't wait to ship to our customers and their worldwide travellers.

So we’re excited for new teammates, preferably in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Karlsruhe but  home office is also possible. Drop us a message if you would like to get to know us!

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Developer to join our core development team. You will be in a lead position for all UI/UX initiatives at GUIBO and you have a passion for implementing self-explanatory user interfaces users love.

Your tasks:

  • Our web portal is not yet self-explanatory. Together with our domain experts, you will design a new user interface that is designed for 100% self-service.

  • You develop the new user interface based on available API interfaces

  • You are the main contact person for new UI functions in the web portal and in the app

Your skills:

  • You are experienced with HTML, CSS, SCSS, Typescript, Javascript and REST APIs (5+ years of experience)

  • You have already worked with Angular (2+ years of experience)

  • Putting yourself in the users' shoes so that you can find practicable solutions in everyday life is a routine part of your job

  • Conversational English, German would be a bonus

Nice to haves:

  • You start your work with an understanding of the broader context to anticipate the implications for the user and the system of what you build.

  • You enjoy traveling and outdoor activities. This will help you to better understand our customers and their travelers.

What we offer:

  • You will work in a highly motivated team that wants to shape the future and is not satisfied with the second-best solution.

  • As we are growing fast but are still a small company, you can actively and directly contribute to our product and company development.

  • A spontaneous trip to the mountains when the weather is nice and you don't have an appointment? Of course!

  • Flexible and working hours and locations.

  • Personal responsibility and as few overhead processes as possible.
