Today we’re rolling out an update that makes working with geo content quicker, clearer, and more consistent across the platform.
You’ll notice refreshed editing experiences for Routes, POIs, and Destinations, along with several smaller usability improvements that help you get things done with fewer clicks.
What’s new in the Geo Content Manager
Cleaner, faster editing
Improved editing pages for Routes
Improved editing pages for POIs
Improved editing pages for Destinations
General UI refinements for better clarity and navigation
The goal: less friction, fewer mistakes, and faster day-to-day work—especially when building or maintaining larger libraries.
Control where PDFs are delivered
You can now decide which PDF attachments should be delivered via:
the Tour Guide App
TripLink
or both
This helps you keep the traveler experience lean (and avoids sending unnecessary large files).
Better reading experience on mobile (next app release)
With the next app release, PDFs will open in the smartphone’s native PDF viewer—for a noticeably better experience when:
zooming
scrolling
navigating multi-page documents
In short: a more familiar, more reliable PDF experience—especially on the go.
What you need to do
Nothing special. The changes are designed to be self-explanatory.
For orientation, you’ll find a quick overview of the most important improvements below in this post.
